• What do the dorm rooms look like and what are the sleeping arrangements?
    • We are working to provide an update regarding lodging for this Convention 2025. Please come back at a later date for more info.
  • When can I arrive?
    • Registration does not begin until 4:00pm on Friday.
  • Can we bring our chapter banner?
    • The layout of the dorms is not conducive to hanging banners.
  • What kind of bedding should I bring?
    • A sleeping bag and pillow is the suggested bedding to bring, however the beds are extra-long twins.
  • I can't sleep in a dorm room bed, can I get a hotel room?
    • You are free to reserve a hotel room in the area, the registration cost will however remain the same.
  • Is the campus accessible?
    • Yes, each of the venues has accessible entrances. Please identify any needs during registration.
  • Are there options if I have food allergens?
    • Yes the cafeteria is capable of supporting all kinds of food allergens. Please identify any needs during registration so these can be communicated.
  • What should I do with my pet?
    • We encourage you to find an appropriate boarding option for your pet(s) or kindly ask a relative to watch them while you stay at Convention. Our host does not allow animals.
  • Should we bring our chapter regalia and/or robes for team ritual competition?
    • No need! Missouri DeMolay will provide regalia. All ritual competitions should be done in Business Casual attire (including DeMolay Degree). These competitions are intended to judge knowledge and performance, not attire.
  • Will there be Wifi available?
    • Yes, login details will be provided during check-in.
  • Will there be a hospitality room?
    • No. Registration comes with a total of eight meals (1 Friday, 3 Saturday, 3 Sunday, 1 Monday). There are several food shops conveniently located near campus if necessary.
  • What should I pack?
    • The following items are suggested:
      • Toiletries (Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Soap, Deodorant, Cologne/Body Spray, Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Floss, Mouthwash, Hair Gel/Spray, More Deodorant, Razor)
      • Towels
      • Shower Shoes
      • Sleeping Bag and Pillow
      • Clothes (Shirts, Shorts/Pants, Undershirts, Underwear, Socks, Hat) for Four (4) Days (Plus an Extra Pair Just in Case)
      • Semi-Formal Attire (Including Dress Shoes, Socks, and Tie)
      • Athletic Attire (Shorts, Shoes, Shirt)
      • Swimming Trunks
      • Prescription Medication (Give to Advisor for Safekeeping During Convention)
  • What shouldn't I pack?
    • The following items should not be brought:
      • Game Consoles (there are no TVs in the dorm rooms and TVs in shared spaces are not secured)
      • Other Expensive Electronics
      • Air Conditioner or Space Heaters
      • Air Fryer
      • Alcohol/Drugs
      • Appliances With an Open Heating Element (Toaster, Toaster Oven, Hot Plate, George Foreman Grills)
      • Halogen Lamp, Quartz Lamp, or Any Other Lamp (Including a Desk Lamp) With an Exposed Bulb
      • Open Flames (e.g., Candles, Incense)
      • Hazardous Chemicals, Including Flammable Liquids
      • Illegal or Unauthorized Materials (e.g., Alcohol, Drugs, Fireworks, Stolen Property)
      • Pets
      • Toaster Ovens
      • Valuable/Irreplaceable Items
      • Weapons (Guns, Knives, etc.)

  • Is there really nothing on Monday morning?
    • Nope! You are free to grab breakfast and get on the road at your leisure. All awards will be given out before Monday.
  • When is checkout time?
    • We ask that everyone be out of the dorms by 9:30am.
  • Can I participate in Individual Ritual even if I'm not attending Convention?
    • Yes! If you win we will be sure to get your award to your Chapter representative.
  • Will we be able to drive to various locations for different events on campus?
    • Generally yes, however most locations are within walkable distance. Not all locations have parking in the immediate vicinity.
